ABOUT ME
GREGG CHAMPION
Gregg Champion is a TEDx speaker, esteemed recovery and life coach, and entrepreneur with over 29 years in recovery. After nearly losing everything to addiction, he turned his life around with the guidance of Father Bill Wilson of La Jolla, who led him to the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous. Since then, Gregg has dedicated his career to helping others break through limitations, master resilience, and build lives of purpose and success.
Recognized as a trusted leader in the recovery community, Gregg has worked alongside policymakers, media personalities, and addiction experts. At SOBA Recovery Center in Malibu, he developed a one-of-a-kind curriculum that shaped the clinical recovery groups he led. His expertise extends to private coaching for individuals at all stages of recovery—from those in early sobriety to high achievers who feel “stuck” and need a breakthrough. He continues to lead high-energy workshops, recovery retreats, and coaching sessions at top-tier facilities like Hotel California by the Sea Recovery Center in Newport Beach.
Beyond recovery, Gregg brings decades of branding, entrepreneurship, and leadership experience to his work. He has collaborated with top consumer brands, major television networks, Fortune 500 companies, and professional sports teams, guiding individuals and organizations toward transformation. His impact in the business world led to his appointment as Mentor in Residence at USC’s Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurship, where he co-taught a venture management course at the Marshall School of Business.
As the Co-Founder of START UP RECOVERY & WELLNESS, Gregg is at the forefront of the recovery and wellness industries, helping individuals redefine their purpose and unlock their full potential. His ability to blend real-world experience with an unmatched energy for change makes him a sought-after coach, speaker, and mentor for those ready to take their lives to the next level.
